These books appeal to readers of all ages. They have sparked an interest in reading for reluctant readers who have not been able to find books about the topics they are interested in. This set of books has certainly filled a need in our library. I would absolutely recommend them to everyone.

I get these books for my reluctant reader and he loves them. So exciting and fun but also right on his level.

This series hooked us from the first page! My reader is 10 years old and loves hunting and fishing so much. This book had him hooked from the first page and this is a kid who doesn't like to read! He liked it so much that I had to read it too ( adult!) and this book will "reel" the reader in! Highly recommend!

Our son is 8 and has severe ADD and moderate functioning autism. Because of his struggles he had yet to read a chapter book until today. We happened to pick this book and it’s the only chapter book so far he has read. He let me read chapter one and started closing his eyes “imagining it” but was so excited for chapter two that he insisted he read it to me so I could close my eyes and “imagine it” ! We are in shock! He has always been a lover of the outside and this book has been a dream come true! I can’t wait to buy the other 8!! Mr. Lovegreen thank you!!!

My husband and I purchased this book for our 9 year old grandson who thinks of hunting constantly. Before delivering the book my husband decided to read it and exclaimed “he’s going to love this book...once he reads the first three paragraphs he will keep reading till he has turned every page”. We immediately ordered the entire set.
